Nun hat sich auch noch Vaclav Kadlec im Training verletzt. Er blieb unglücklich im Rasen hängen und verdrehte sich dabei das Knie. Mit einem dicken Eisbeutel und Verdacht auf eine Innenbanddehnung wurde der Tscheche vom Trainingsgelände gebracht. Eine endgültige Diagnose ist erst morgen zu erwarten.

    Unter diesen Umständen hätten wir besser Friedhelm F. als Trainer verpflichtet.
    Entweder hab´ isch zu viel Rindfleisch gegesse („Die derfe doch garnet geschlacht werrn!“)

    Nach genaueren Untersuchungen konnten die Frankfurter aufatmen. Der Verdacht auf eine Innenbanddehnung bestätigte sich nicht. Schon am Mittwochmorgen stand Kadlec beim Taktik-Training wieder auf dem Rasen. Der Stürmer fasste sich zwar gelegentlich an das lädierte linke Knie, jedoch war deutlich zu erkennen, dass es nichts Schlimmes ist.
