Und nun gibt auch Heribert Bruchhagen zu, dass sich die Suche nach einem neuen Stürmer schwierig gestalte. „Wir waren einfach sicher, dass Joselu bleibt“, bekennt der Vorstandsvorsitzende in BILD, „ich bin vom Hocker gefallen, als er dann zu Hannover wechselte!“ Erst danach begann Bruno Hübner zu suchen. Inzwischen wisse jeder, dass die Eintracht Stürmer sucht. “Es kommen täglich Angebote auf den Tisch. Auch gute. Viele Berater bieten sechs Kandidaten an. Denn die Topspieler Carlos Zambrano, Kevin Trapp und Stefan Aigner sollen über den Sommer 2015 hinaus mit dem Trikot der Adler auflaufen. Und so warnt Bruchhagen davor, zu hohe Erwartungen in die Neuzugänge zu stecken. Ein neuer Spieler könne nicht “sofort unser Leistungsniveau anheben. Wir sind in ein finanzielles Ranking gebettet, aus dem es kein Entrinnen gibt.”
