“Love Football” – “Hate Racism”! Vom 16.07. bis 19.07. haben ca. 20 Anhänger von FSV und Eintracht Frankfurt in einer gemeinsamen Aktion die Rückseite der 105 Meter langen und 2,2 Meter hohen Lärmschutzwand an der A661 in Sichtweite des Stadions am Bornheimer Hang mit einem Bekenntnis zu Frankfurt und gegen Rassismus gestaltet. Die Idee zu dieser außergewöhnlichen Aktion entstand in der Fanszene und wurde durch das Frankfurter Fanprojekt – verantwortlich für die Fanprojekte von Eintracht und FSV – unterstützt. Zunächst wurden Kontakte zwischen den beiden Fanszenen hergestellt und ein Nutzungsvertrag mit dem Straßen- und Verkehrsmanagement “Hessen Mobil” abgeschlossen. Anschließend wurde das 230m² große Motiv abgestimmt, das dazugehörige Material besorgt und die Wand künstlerisch gestaltet.
Ein großer „Frankfurt“-Schriftzug wird von zwei fotorealistisch gemalten Händen gehalten und vom Slogan „Love Football – Hate Racism“ eingefasst. Blau-schwarze, bzw. rot-schwarz-weiße Jacken-Bündchen symbolisieren die beiden größten Fußballvereine der Stadt. Für die Umsetzung der Hände konnte der Frankfurter Graffitikünstler „Indian“ gewonnen werden. Der Montana-Store Frankfurt – ansässig in Sachsenhausen – unterstützte das Projekt mit vergünstigten Dosen – insgesamt wurden 280 Stück verbraucht. Das Kunstwerk wurde vom Fanprojekt vor- und soll jetzt durch Spenden refinanziert werden.
